2020/21 Moise Kean

I think he struggled to adapt and I didn't see anything to suggest he was worth putting a huge focus in Over 12 months.

Things are easier playing for the best team in less intense league rather than for us. Would make anyone happy
To be fair though mate wouldn't you struggle adapt if your not playing? He's had no problem adapting in the French league ( I know it's weaker ) but he's done well in the champions League as well.

Strikers are purely based on confidence and his confidence was shot at Everton for a mixture of reasons.

See I don't know about wether it's worth huge focus on him, I think as soon as our European hopes where over that is the absolute perfect time to try different players and determine whether they are a) good enough b) got what it takes to he at the club.

I don't get all the " he wasn't arsed" shouts either, this season clearly he didn't want to be here and that showed in the cup games, however in the league last season did you see his celebration against Newcastle when he scored ( was motm as well btw ) and last game of the season Vs Bournemouth he scored and was the only player who looked interested. I think if the club put more effort into him like psg have we'd have a very good exciting striker on our hands.

I think this will end up dragging on, as he isn't going to be a starter for the clubs that would be able to pay Everton's asking price.

It's well known that it takes players at least a year to adapt coming from other leagues unless they get off to a flyer and everything is rosy. He's not been around long enough to shake that off.

And of course he's adapted better in the French league, it's not like he's playing for Dijon he's playing for the league's best team and last year's Champions League finalists. Things are nice and easy for him.

Can his body language be any worse than Richarlison?
Tbf a guy managing his second game subbed him on and back off because he didn't trust him but in his mind he knew he was good enough for a real manager to put him on when they needed to hold a lead in a CL quarterfinal against Bayern Munich.

It could have been frustrating.

If he supposedly knew he was good enough then he needed to show it. Every day in training. Every match he played.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Dunc subbing him off wasn't just about the game at hand. It was a boot up the arse. Does he want to graft and work hard for the team? Honestly, I thought it was good management.

The attitude of sulking because you're not getting the reverence you think you deserve is a real bellend move in any walk of life. It's the last thing we need.

He's playing regularly with Mbappe and Newmar but not cut out for Everton

Funny he didn't celebrate also against lower league oppo and didn't get the same abuse
I'm not abusing Kean, just wasn't the right fit for the Premier League and maybe living in the North West of England. Didn't look happy, but that's just an observation not a criticism. At least it appears we can move him on with a profit and not get landed with another Besic/Delph type.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they get him for £20 million and a certain midfielder coming back to us as part of the deal. It’s the Everton way..

The truth is somewhere in between. A player will obviously look better being played in by Mbappe and Neymar instead of Iwobi and Tom Davies for example.

He is obviously a talented player with a bunch of potential but football is often about opportunity and it never arose here. Doesn't make him a bad player nor does it make us daft to get rid. If he moves on for a decent price (and there is no reason why he shouldn't) then everyone theoretically wins.

Not having a ‘Kean’ option has made us predictable.
I’m sure there are times when we could of changed the formation to have 2 up front, indeed it would of meant one less shoite midfielder on the pitch, but that’s gone now. We are a one trick strike force destined for mid table again

There's a reason why they choose to start without a recognised striker in the Champions League.

He's there to put chances away against their terrible domestic opponents, which is why they won't be meeting Everton's asking price in the summer.
