Nob.

“I feel good in Paris, they welcomed me with open arms, I was not expecting that. Here people are warmer with their teammates, there is a big joy, a joy to play, we have fun. We are all young but very talented. Here you can only learn.”
Hip hop hippity hop. He was a barrel of laughing raps wasn't he?

See it as him bringing a mentality that didn't suit the club.
A well worn observation has been, and still is that the mentality of the players has/d to change.

There's been progress in Allan, Godfrey and Doucs joining the likes of Coleman, Digne, Keane and even Davies and Big Dunc.
Throw in the class and winning mentality of James and we've got momentum.
Not saying we've reached critical mass or tipping point but huge strides have been made in winning rather than losing matches.
In previous seasons we would have gifted other teams points.

The kid was thrown into the mix but didn't come up with what was needed.
Still think Kean was a shrewd deal.
And hopefully the piece of the action we get out of it will be spent on another one or two youg uns, that have the same sort of mentality as Godfrey.
Imo we should look for a more experienced striker and two young ambitious, talented wingers willing to duel it out with Richarlison.

He wasn't given much of a chance here purely because we were never in a position to give him one. The small chances he did get he didn't take (I mean he was only 19 too)

Get rid and move on, everybody wins. It's not a slight on the club or the player, he was worth taking a punt on, it just didn't work out, sometimes these things just happen.
No Papa, not get rid and move on, rather let him go and say thank you to him for the, hopefully, £10M profit, Then again we might come to regret him going in the future.

Can't wait to hear that he has gone for a big fat fee and this thread is finally closed down, The other player with a similar sounding name is more topical as we are stuck with him.
Oh you poor thing, even when he's sold we will never be rid of him.

Every goal he scores people will pine for him, every transfer window, people will say we should get him back and the lad has 10-15 years left in the game.

Never hear the end of this fella.
