Right and after 3 years the players he has signed haven't done that.It's his job to sign players he thinks will take us to the next step. For a myriad of reasons not every signing can work out as is seen in every club in the world. If he can shift a bogus striker who looked out of place against Salford City for nearly £50m then he should be applauded for that.
I don't want to applaud him for correcting a mistake he made in the first place by signing Kean. I want him to sign the right player the first time.
