Lose lose situation. He hates England. Next season if we dont have Europe that means he has to play 38 games plus the cups in cold winter grounds. Not a chance he comes back. Take the 30 million and a sell on clause and call it a day.
 
To sign basically the new Afonso Alves - as in a player totally and obviously unsuited to the league, both in terms of talent and attitude - and get rid of him for a an actual profit would be absolutely marvellous.

I think it will be £40mil+ and by the sounds of things we then use that on a wide attacker.

Basically a 'free' player to add to the squad with some recycling of Kean out and a new chap in.

Yeah if we can sell kean and bring diaby in or someone of the like we'll have done a great bit of business.

£40m through amortisation is probably two players in in all honesty.

If Leverkusen want say £80mil for Diaby and Bailey then simplistically it becomes Kean + £40mil for two absolutely rapid wide attackers.

DCL / Richarlison / Diaby / Bailey /James

Thats a fabulous group to complete the 3 attacking slots in a 433.

For whatever reason he never hit it off here.
Can't see him coming back.
Also can't escape the feeling that he is a potentially really good player , and that we have (yet again) massively screwed up.
 

Always looked lost when he came on. Partly down to age perhaps but if he doesn’t fancy the graft then Everton and probably even this league are not for him.
 
Wow they couldn't even win the farmers league. So Kean will be coming back then I assume?
