…confirmation PSG have agreed a deal with Messi surely ends any chance Kean had of a return.

Looks increasingly like he’ll be here next season which I thought was very unlikely.

Would still bet he gets a loan move to Italy.

He's a donkey. We need to be more realistic with our valuation. If we made him available for 20 million, we may actually be able to sell him. Any more than that and nobody will be interested, so it will be a loan, and if he goes to a half decent league he will just prove himslelf to be a donkey and his valuation will decrease anyway.

no more of a donkey than tammy abraham whos going for 35m

I think he needs time and games. He’s 21, DCL is 24, DCL was absolute crap a couple of years ago. Many on here, myself included, didn’t think he would make it but he has proven us all wrong. This young lad, given a bit of confidence and ‘love’, may well do similar…..

We should be able to sell him then, but it looks like we are struggling to do so. If there wasn't this apparent need to sell in order to buy I wouldn't necessarily be advocating his sale. But if we are to actually act like a half decent club and keep DCL, then Kean is just going to be a sulky bench warmer. And if someone needs to be sold, it really should be Kean rather than DCL.

People writing him off but he's got more pedigree than most of our current squad and has scored in an away victory in a Champions League last 16 game at the Nou Camp at the age of 21.

Agree with other posters that he seems like a confidence player to me - needs a bit of love and I'm sure he'd be more than adequate as competition to Dom this year

He doesn’t have to be ‘competition’…try a twin strikeforce …..

It's not confidence; he doesn't want to be here. He hasn't since the week he came through the front door. His body language - and everything he's done - absolutely screams it. His attitude stinks.

If we get no suitable bids, we have to keep him as a loan move makes absolutely no sense, but there's no doubt the optimum scenario is to get rid.

Raiola will be spinning plates mate.

Brands is in his pocket so wouldn't be surprised if something gets done late in the window.

Whether that will be too late for us to do anything with... well we'll have to wait and see.
