We've just played him mainly in a one - the only games we didn't and played him in a two were v Newcastle and B'mouth last season and he scored in both.

Not saying that's a great barometer, like, but he's definitely not cut out to be a sole striker in this league.

He really needs to be in a three. But probably isn't good enough to accommodate in that sense.

The trouble is, that has been said about several of our serial failures - Bily, Iwobi, Bernard, etc etc etc.

Just don’t see him making it in this league. Simple as that. He has shown maybe two-three games where he was actually playable. In others, he doesn’t seem to battle enough for possession. He likes to stay on the last man which doesn’t fit the role we need.

Leaving aside his COVID breach and being late for training - both showing attitude and professionalism issues in their own right - it's not my "imagination" that he was sulking his tits off whenever he was on the pitch for us.

Would like to see Moise Kean getting the full ninety against Southampton in order to give Dominic Calvert-Lewin a bit more time to recover from his foot injury.

Spot on this, I'd also like to see how a 2 would work with Kean, when DCL is fully fit.

He'd be fine as a sole striker if the team he was playing for could pass a football to each other
