Moise Kean

Was really excited when we signed him but it didn't work out for one of three reasons:
He's $hite.
We're $hite.
We're both $hite.

Probably the latter.
If He's Sh!te and We're Sh!te and then we're both sh!te, does that mean we're good?
Like a double negative? or are we a new level of sh!te?

Logically, either one of us is more $*%&! than the other, or we are at an equivalent level.

"Whole new level" would be Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket. "5 foot 9? I didn't know they stacked $*%& that high!"

We are not the club for a newbie making his way into the game or especially first time in the PL. We don't create enough chances to allow them to miss a few and score a few. Their confidence level then drops and the one chance we do provide on a plate they usually miss causing us both to sink to new lows, making the next game tougher again.

So I would put it down to us being crap more than them. Had Kean gone straight to PSG and stayed he probably would have kept scoring and become a decent striker. Going back to a tougher league again in Italy with high expectations (presumably he was supposed to replace the goals Ronaldo scored) again is another sure fire way to break a player.

He may well come good yet like the initial promise but we set him right back.

Players with less natural talent have coped.

He never had the desire, team spirit or work ethic to make it here.

Players with less talent haven't got the baggage of a large fee and high expectations that come with it.

He was already an Italian international expecting to play every game, then factor in being in another country and probably homesick it is easy to see how a young man's head drop just sat their on the bench, not mention the conveyor belt of managers coming through the door.

He probably wasn't expecting to have to run around all game chasing shadows, that's not his game. My point is if we buy players like Kean we have to expect them to struggle initially but you have to show faith else there is no point buying them in the first place.

His game should be whatever the manager asks him to do. If he's told to run the channels or chase back nonstop then he should be doing it. That's a task more requiring athleticism than technique, it's not a case of him not having the ability it's then an attitude problem.

And let's not forget his antics during lockdown.

Honestly not impressed while he was here and hasn't fulfilled the promise his fees would have suggested anywhere he has been. 2 ways this could go for him. 1 Balotelli or 2 Matterazzi. It could just be he needs to mature mentally which could take some years.
