Perhaps might be worth recalling him now if we can as it might be more useful to us now than in the summer with only one year on his contract.

No one knows the condition really mate, it might be playing 10 games, might be qualifying for the CL for one season, which they did last year, no one knows really.

It was strongly implied that champions league qualification would be needed for that obligation to be triggered. In fact recent reports from juventus wanting to buy him now at a reduce fee for me is a clear indication that this condition exists. Obviously now they might not be in a rush to buy him as they know they can be in a position of power in the summer to negotiate a much lower fee. However I do agree that this is far from over. Those 15 points could easily be reduced to 9 and with a lot of the league still to be played, they could still make it in the champions league.

Personally I wouldn't stress about a condition unless you know it’s real, all I’ve ever seen is people say its CL qualification and just assuming it’s true - no one knows for certain.

Very much a wait and see situation as no one knows. Could really do with them being forced to buy him though as can’t see anyone else paying that for him, even if his performances have picked up recently.
