Hunger Frank, he lost it once he went to United, he dragged himself from League One to the Premier League, he got to United, got the dough and he flopped, he came here, saw it all far apart and just gave up, then the fans gave him a dogs life and its game over.

Quality post mate .

Like others I thought he was a solid signing and could really do a job For us , suppose you’ve got to want to haven’t you ?

I talked him up myself.

Thought he'd transform our midfield.

Very very disappointed in what we got.

Thinking logically tho there was a reason united didn't play him.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

My comment about it name was firmly tongue in cheek!

Would anyone take a Cédric / Morgane straight swap?

but Davies will never be good enough. DCL will be but not Davies.
I think DCL will be a decent striker once he reads the game better. Tom Davies just doesn’t look like he is playing with confidence when he gets a chance. If he isn’t going to take his chances when he gets them then maybe he isn’t good enough I don’t know

He's not made any comment about wanting to play or move elsewhere for first team football.

No serious links with the player for other club.

Gives off the impressions he's not bothered, just happy to pick up his wage.
As about ten of them are.

I just don't think the skill is there. The effort yes and enough to have a great career but a league down I would guess.

Nail on head.

Imagine having the ability and just not caring.

This is why I'm disillusioned with the new ev.

Quite. That Moyes fella was on to something, signing the likes of a Pienaar, Arteta, Cahill, Lescott, Baines, Coleman, Jagielka on the cheap. On their way up with something to prove.

Is our scouting team just not very good anymore at identifying younger, hungrier players, a winning mentality with the correct attitude? Or, is it just easier to spend a fortune on "established" players and throwing money at them, at the risk of said players no longer perhaps having the desire?

Is spot on. We shop from the catalogue of this:

And wonder why they down tools so regularly. If we had a sniff of being competitive they would probably pull their fingers out and we would be a half decent side.
