Hunger Frank, he lost it once he went to United, he dragged himself from League One to the Premier League, he got to United, got the dough and he flopped, he came here, saw it all far apart and just gave up, then the fans gave him a dogs life and its game over.

To be fair the lad has the talent, for me he lost all desire after leaving Southampton and not making it at Utd.

The lad has the ability not the desire.

Clear lesson to be learned here is get players on the way up rather then the way down, Walcott another example.

I think DCL will be a decent striker once he reads the game better. Tom Davies just doesn’t look like he is playing with confidence when he gets a chance. If he isn’t going to take his chances when he gets them then maybe he isn’t good enough I don’t know

He's not made any comment about wanting to play or move elsewhere for first team football.

No serious links with the player for other club.

Is our scouting team just not very good anymore at identifying younger, hungrier players, a winning mentality with the correct attitude? Or, is it just easier to spend a fortune on "established" players and throwing money at them, at the risk of said players no longer perhaps having the desire?
