Considering how much we were supposed to be throwing at Witsel Carvalho, Koukibaly and Sissoko, this deal looks like good business. We're not in a position to be stubborn over transfer fees.

If we can sell a player we don't want surely that's a good thing? If we buy a CM for 19m and sell one for 13-15m then we are basically selling to buy again
We shall see
If we can sell a player we don't want surely that's a good thing?

Does anyone actually believe we're haggling under his market value?
Why would you sell McCarthy before some of the utter drudge in this squad, He's no world beater but he should be kept imo to rotate with Morgs and Gueye, Sell him and you have Barry as back up
If we buy Morgs and McCarthy leaves soon after alarm bells should start sounding
Sell to buy again mate. If it happens like that.
But look at it this way, we have that many poor players on our books, to improve our squad, that's exactly what has to happen. It may appear like sell to buy but it's basically a clear out. Out with the old, in with the new, improving as we go along.
I hope that's how it works out. I've made it very clear that I believe our current plight is due to the squad we have not the manager.
As it's Everton, well Bill, I always have the worries of old though.
If Schneiderling comes in and someone gets out t's totally daft to brand it to "sell to buy"
We have funds.
It would merely be smart business.
Why are we seemingly waiting and Koeman getting peed off with the board then mate?
The money is definitely there IMO but I think the remnants of the bk era is still lingering and people are still trying "to get the best deal for the club" by haggling. Not sure they realise to step up you can't do that. Why are we seemingly waiting and Koeman getting peed off with the board then mate?
