People talking about top 4 still? Come on lads, we would probably need to win all our remaining games, which include LFC away, man u away, Arsenal away, and chelsea at home. Our record in these big away games, as you all know, is absolutely horrific. We will finish 7th, which is sound because it's still Europa.

7th isn't in the bag yet.

All we can do is go game-by-game and see where that gets us.

If we win, we apply pressure on those above us to do so as well.

Any chance of him playing this weekend?

we'd finish on 77 pints if we won all 9 game slef tmate, no chance on earth top 4 will require that this season

Devils advocate, Chelsea home - at which point they look very likely to have already won the league - a Chelsea already celebrating coming to Goodison is hell different to a chelsea team needing to still get points to win the league

Arsenal last game away - its an utter unknown as by then what state will Arsenal be in - they already seem to have downed tools, Wenger gonna sign a new contract and the atmosphere becoming more toxic by the game amongst their fans - a lot different to a normal visit to their gaff, but could very well be an Arsenal who have no chance of getting top 4 - with a team thats quit on the manager

another 3 home games that on form atm we should be massively confident at getting 3 points in, and an away trip to an equally toxic and appaling form west ham (where Lukaku has a brilliant record at)

The season and what we can do - basically comes down to the next two games mate

I like your optimism. If we hadn't just lost Seamus, and if Utd and RS weren't 3 days apart, and if Morgan wasn't a doubt for those games, then maybe I'd entertain the idea, but...

Leicester will win the CL...7th won't get Europa

United are playing West Brom the game before they play us as well mate, so a nice bruising game for them that'll be.

Coleman is a loss, but a chance for someone to step in i hope and we have seen what happened when Davies did the same and it gave the entire team a massive boost which we are still seeing now.

Schneiderlin - let's see on that, if he misses them then a huge loss, but still optimistic he will make at least 1 of those games (hopefully the derby).

As i have said - it's a big ask to get their, but 10 weeks or so ago the season looked utterly dead and buried, now we have two games that could make that earlier thought very wrong.

The league table after we drew against Hull

Team P GD Pts
1 Chelsea 19 29 49
2 Liverpool 19 25 43
3 Arsenal 19 22 40
4 Tottenham 19 23 39
5 Man City 19 18 39
6 Man Utd 19 10 36
7 Everton 19 2 27
8 West Brom 19 2 26

League table as of right now

Team P GD Pts
1 Chelsea 28 38 69
2 Tottenham 28 34 59
3 Man City 28 24 57
4 Liverpool 29 25 56
5 Man Utd 27 19 52
6 Arsenal 27 22 50
7 Everton 29 21 50
8 West Brom 29 1 43

Honestly don't think people have realised just how much ground we have pulled back on the teams above us over the past few months

If we can get 4 points out of those 2 games then at least we could say that the miracle is still possible. For that's what it would be if it happened. A bloody wonderful miracle.

haha agree it'd be worth celebrating but you'll be absolutely hammered mate! I'd like to see you give it a go though, defo let me know what pub you're in :)

BTW we win the derby and United draw or lose to west brom (in exactly the sort of games they have dropped lots of points this season in at Old Trafford) then we will go above United on goal difference before we play them - with the chance of a win at Old Trafford moving us above the rs before they play the day after, and moving 3 clear of Untied with the win.

It's a big ask ofc, but anyone thinking top 4 is gone, think about that.

Think about that scenario a lot, but then the alarm goes off and I wake up!

No mate. Leicester winning UCL will do it for 7th place. If Man U also win EL and finish outside of top 6, then 6th place is done for too.
That's not correct.

Leicester win CL (and Utd don't win EL) = 5 CL spots, EL for Utd (LC winner) + 6th and 7th.

Leicester win CL & Utd win EL = Top 3 + Leicester + Utd into the CL, 4th, 5th and 6th into the EL.
