When the pressures were off in the second half, he looked decent, stroking the ball around etc. He clipped a couple of nice passes out wide to Theo but in the first half he was anonymous.

He’s not the same player as the “rolls Royce “ player he was last season, then there’s something gone wrong mentally with him. Bottling tackles, passing sideways and simply not taking responsibility, tells me his heart isn’t in it.

Surely, both Davies and Benni would produce much much more

The fact that he is still starting game tells the tale of what is currently wrong with EFC. It sets such a bad precedent to play players that are not only under-performing horribly, but also showing a lack of commitment to the club. His attitude is poo, he is poo and he needs to be relegated to the depths of hell. The fact THAT WE ARE PLAYING HIM TO RAISE HIS VALUE shows how much our management/board are committed to actually winning things.

He's a bottler. Doesn't matter how good you think you are if you are a coward and can't produce consistently. We desperately need to sell him and get some power and pace into that midfield.

First things first he needs to be dropped not just from the team but the squad if anyone deserves the Niasse treatment its this pansy

I wonder after deigning to join us from the mighty Man Utd, and lowering himself to our level, is there a contractual obligation that he has to play a minimum amount of games?

Perhaps it was written up in error and the contract states "minimum effort" by mistake. If so, he is a man of his word, Morgan.

We flirted with him to such a degree before signing that it wouldn't surprise me at all. He was doing extra training on his own, and everything, to make sure he was fit.

It's a shame it's come to that but when you show such a lack of fight for the shirt for so long it's to be expected.

Had such high hopes after the way he started his career with us but he's surely done now
