Nope, deep down I think they stole a living from the music industry.
I'll admit they inspired a generation of musicians but they're responsible for Oasis. That alone is should have them wiped from the history books.

Nothing wrong with Oasis either.

To be honest I think I just have to hold my hands up and admit I don’t “get” Radiohead. I don’t mind The Bends. Never really got Ok Computer or Kid A though. Maybe I need to give them another listen.

Strange thing with radiohead is their first album pablo honey is derivative indie landfill. Nothing really there that would point to them doing something even interesting, let alone achieving world domination. But it gave them a breakout hit with creep so perhaps they just needed that to get some confidence and authority with the record company - The Bends is night and day better, massive step up.

Not a huge radiohead fan myself, but I really like some of Thom Yorke's solo stuff.
Even if you don't like the music, it's hard to argue that he's an incredibly talented musician!

Life's Rich Pageant, Document and Green are very good IMO.

For me, everything up to and including ‘New Adventures In Hi-Fi’ was pretty good. Very up and down thereafter, but thought ‘Collapse Into Now’ was a strong final album. And they were always excellent live.
