Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand etc.

Guitar rock’s last stand was pretty underwhelming if you ask me.

Kaiser Chiefs are awful.

All their songs are the same and have an “ooooooohhh, ooooohhhh, OOOOOHHHH” bit near the end where they go up an octave, like an even more crap version of Westlife.

I wouldn't go that far. However they were another game-changing band. If it weren't for them I doubt artists like Skrillex, Aphex Twin and Deadmau5 would have have come to be.

See, to me, Kraftwerk are much more influential with the music i listen to. I also believe they are better.

I'm reading of another old person who has gone to meet their maker and despite living in almost squalor and penury has left almost £350K to Cats Protection League or similar. It annoys me that a "more" worthwhile cause is not benefitting, Cancer Research, Dementia and o on.
