We made our offer to Moutinho last Saturday and Sporting rejected it (20 million euros), Moutinho's agent is no one other than Pini Zahavi, and he was the one who made the offer on behalf of Everton!

The meeting took place in a place called "SAD" near the Alvalade stadium between Zahavi and Sporting and they rejected the offer, but the negotiations are still on.

Sporting want 25 million euros but Moutinho told them that he wants to leave and play in England

Zahavi is also the agent of Fernandes and Yakubu supposedly.

Well thats great news if true atleast we know davey must have a fairly big transfer kitty if he's bidding upward of £15million for just one player when he knows we need 5 or 6.
 
Will this be the year that BK surprises us all by supplying DM with the biggest transfer kitty he has ever seen, seeing that the rumours are so rife re Moutinho? Will be great if we can get this bloke. Some other article seems to think that DM has now offered them 21.5mil euros...
 
Has anyone else noticed how slow the bbc site is when it comes to reporting everton transfer news and news in general, i get the impression they dont really like us?

I guess they have also been hypnotised by the so-called "big 4" - everything/everyone else just takes a low priority...or...maybe there's just nothing to report on re everton ... ?
 

Reading the news on A Bola they seem to think 22.5 million Euros will be enough which is about 17/18 million. He's supposedly wants to play in England aswell.
 
If we can tie up this signing, i will be mega impressed, it would just show everyone how much we have progressed and how much we are looking to progress in the future. If you take into account the lads age as well this would be one hell of a signing and would shock a lot of people, myself included.
 
It would definatly be a signal of intent, similar to Spurs signing Modric. A good up and coming player, a proven internationl and someone with a high profile.

I'd be made up if we signed him.
 

Hopefully Pini Zahari can negotiate a deal. I do feel there's something in this one. All the news has been very positive so far.

Toxteth mate, 22.5M euros is what Everton is rumoured to be offering. The answer was 25M euros!
