Of course I would, being skeptical about the deal doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see him in blue shirt.
But keep in mind that he is a team player, he's not a player in the line of Rui Costa or Figo.

He's got quality though which is important. He can pass, he's clever, he's versatile and he works his socks off......exactly what we need. His work ethic and attitude would make him an instant hit here.

Sometimes the price tag may raise expectations on a player not many people really know.
Modric is a player who likes to take opponents on, that's not Moutinho.
He is what I call a tick tack man. He keeps the team ticking, he touches the ball and raises the pace of the game with his distribution.
He's very clever, which allows him to play anywhere in the midfield, has got great work ethics.
The main thing i can say about him is although sometimes he looks to be playing below his own standard, he always tries is best. The biggest difference is when he's not playing and the team plays at slower pace. He's not the man to get all the pundits and you'll only notice him when he's not playing, because the team plays a lot worse when he's not on the pitch.

He can dictate a game which is a good thing and he always demands it. Like you've said in the past he's more Scholes/Fabregas than Deco/Rui Costa/Figo.

If we're on the money, I'd raid Sporting for 2 more players: Veloso and Izmailov.
Veloso would link with Moutinho in the middle and Izmailov could play on both wings.
We could use Fernandes on the right side of the midfield.

I think that would be quality. On Veloso, I don't think we'd have enough money for hom to be honest. I do like IzMailov and I also like the look of Vukcevic.

Vukcevic is great but he would cost 20 or 25M euros (can't remember how much is the clause).
Izmailov would be cheaper, he just costed 4.5M euros but I think Sporting would be ready to sell him for 10/12M euros.
