Moyes as interim manager

Have we as a club moved on since Moyes left?? If anything, were worse.
We've moved on in expectation.

Moyes tenure was a decade of mid table nothingness accepted by many. The raised expectations started by Martinez and emboldened by the arrival of Mosh have moved us on even if results don't match this higher bar.

The question is should we chuck in the towel and accept Moyes mid table nothingness again or keep striving to pull ourselves out of the mess?

Personally I think we should flash our knobs at the Liver Bdgs in a surreal but emotional demonstration that although unsure we still care about puppies, kittens and EFC.

who are the club going to get at this short notice? We wont get a world class manager so we have to make a quick fix. I would rather be managerless than have Silva that's for sure.
Plenty out of work Alan. Ones that would relish a chance to come here. Solve arsenal's problem and ask for Emery, Marcelino, in fact any under fire manager with a great track record would be obtainable.

I've got a great deal of time for Moyes but thinking about matters would he comd back with Brands sat between him and the other board members, I can't see him accepting that. That said at this moment in time I'd happily settle for mid table nothingness than being relegated. The only other candidate mentioned has been Mark Hughes which would bring a mass out break of bleach swallowing amongst us fans.

I would have hoped that Marcel Brands has drawn up a realistic list of candidates for the job and discussed the matter in great depth with the powers that be, rather than this notion that Kenwright is interfering and Moshiri needing to make it clear he owns the Club.

Let's hope it's a better list than the one he made when looking for a CB in the summer

Erm, I’m sure our record under Moyes reads, 15th after taking over, 7th, 17th, 4th, 11th, 6th, 5th, 5th, 8th, 7th, 7th, 6th. What’s mid table about that?

We did that with Allardyce! Then everyone decided he wasnt good enough, and look where we are now!! Sod all this continental coachine approach all done based on statistics and computers, get a proper manager back in to kick the players up the ass and sort this mess out! Not saying it should be Moyes, but hes in the right mould!
Thats because Allardyce wasn't good enough and you can't deny that. People are seriously mad if they wanted him to stay. We haven't really took a continental approach, would you consider appointing managers from relegation fodder teams in the prem a continental approach?. Your basically advocating for a proper manager in the same mould as Moyes who isn't continental. Would love to know who you would have.

The CB we all appeared to want was Zouma, but it didn't happen. I imagine that it's part of Brands job to advise on who the next manager should be, since they will both have to work together in bringing suitable players to the club etc. But if it's just a case of Moshiri and Kenwright looking for a replacement, then what's the point in Brands being here.

Yeah he wasted all summer on an unattainable target, had no Plan B end ended up scrimping round Man United rejects like Rojo and Smalling
