Moyes as interim manager

The likelihood of a big name manager is not good. Moyes at present is probably the best we are going to get . Won’t just stand on the touch line silent and would not accept some of the players performances of late . Beggars can’t be choosers and at the moment we are in big trouble and need somebody to steady the ship . Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d take him back now

This football you talk about. It's dead to me.

What do you think mid table is?

A 7th to 8th average seems the very definition of mid table given it's neither top 4 nor a relegation fight.
Mid table is exactly what it says, middle of the table which last time I looked was 10th, you could stretch it to put it in a bracket of 10th to 12th

Even more galling when you see the performance of John Lundstrum a former youth player with us. He gave a performance and effort today, that I’ve NEVER seen from Scherderlin in an Everton shirt.

Very much agree on Lundstram. He's looked very good not just today but all season. Reminds me of a James Milner with added goal-threat. Would definitely improve our midfield.

Any appointment of Moyes proves that Kenwright still has significant influence at the club and puts to bed the theory that he is merely a figurehead.

Get Kenwright out of this club for good.

Clearly Moshiri has said it´s Bill´s turn to have a go at the appointment this time. Bet there´ll be tears on the phone, the dream team reunited.

Kenwright is a disgrace. He should be chased out of the club but somehow manages to cling on.

He’s an outdated failure and no Evertonian.

Not buying this “Moyes is the best we can get”. The man is a former manager who did a great job in a ‘knife to a gunfight’ period of the club with minimum expectations. We have moved on a lot since then. He has been to 4 other clubs since his departure from here and been dismissed from the all. The man has been in unemployment for 18 months and that’s pretty much telling given how many other clubs have found themselves managerless over that period and not one have approached him.
I agree in one sense, but we have not moved on. We have tried but are actually not as good and more to the point, less of a 'team' I have witnessed winning the league with The Holy Trinity, with Reid and Steven etc. However I would kill for a Cahill or a Graveson at the mo. Spineless we appear to be

How did the song go? Something along the lines of “stuck with Moyes man united, playing football the negative way” joke of a club!! I’m middle aged, been through the good and bad times, but always been proud to say I’m an Evertonian. Going back to this bloke, who couldn’t wait to jib us off, and his [Poor language removed] brand of football will be the most embarrassing thing I’ve witnessed. I’ll tell people and don’t like football if I’m asked who I support
I keep hearing and reading how there’s no quality managers available!! There’s some quality out there right now if, as we are led to believe, MoshirI, brands etc mean business. If it’s Moyes and that’s where we’re saying our level is then who could blame any young kid who may have a family primarily of blues going and supporting the other lot

Hahhhha how sad. Yet we hear the calls for Dyche, Howe, Nuno espirto santo, and Chris wilder who are all performing miracles apparently because they have got teams in to the top 6 or near there. Get a grip. If you think we are finishing top 4 anytime soon your deluded.
What an odd reply to what I posted?

I'm not calling for any of those managers personally. In fact the likes of dyche and Howe would be no better for us than Moyes.

I'm saying Moyes finishing in those positions wasn't anything special and was midtable. The best of the rest as we were once called. Yeah, what did that win us exactly? Anything under top 4 us midtable now. Even the likes of arsenal United Chelsea look down on any position below 4th. That's modern football, either you get that cl place or its nothing.

And no we clearly aren't anywhere near finishing in the top 4 anytime soon. But I'm not quite sure what that has to do with my reply
