Moyes as interim manager

The likelihood of a big name manager is not good. Moyes at present is probably the best we are going to get . Won’t just stand on the touch line silent and would not accept some of the players performances of late . Beggars can’t be choosers and at the moment we are in big trouble and need somebody to steady the ship . Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d take him back now

Not buying this “Moyes is the best we can get”. The man is a former manager who did a great job in a ‘knife to a gunfight’ period of the club with minimum expectations. We have moved on a lot since then. He has been to 4 other clubs since his departure from here and been dismissed from the all. The man has been in unemployment for 18 months and that’s pretty much telling given how many other clubs have found themselves managerless over that period and not one have approached him.

I said he is the best we are going to get - not what any of us want mate but do you see us appointing anyone else ? Sad reality I’m afraid and love to be proven wrong

If they brought him back even for the short term this would seriously bring into question what exactly is Brands role?

This is a damn fine point. If it’s Moyes then that’s a Kenwright call all day long. Kenwright should only have peripheral influence at best. More importantly though, Kenwright and Moshiri should be leaving this totally up to Brands.

I’d rather us be managerless then take Moyes back mate! :(
I would just be happy at this stage of the season to see us not being relegated which if we don’t turn things around quickly will become a reality . We have to play all of the top teams bar city twice and can’t even beat the bottom team at home . We are in real trouble here !

Unfortunately this feels like a step back from where we thought were at 3 years ago but it is actually a step forward from where we are at now. Our club is in turmoil from top to bottom. Just looking at Kenwright, Moshiri and Baxendale sitting in the Main Stand made me realise we are so out of touch.

I agree completely I just don’t think taking the begging bowl to David Moyes is the answer. I put Moyes in the same bracket as the likes of Pardew. Who is good enough? I don’t know, this is why our director of football is paid thousands a week, it’s his responsibility to find an adequate replacement. Sadly if reports are true they are struggling to find one. I would rather have Unsworth in charge until after Christmas again until we can sort a long term replacement out than give David Moyes a 6 month deal until end of season.

Erm, I’m sure our record under Moyes reads, 15th after taking over, 7th, 17th, 4th, 11th, 6th, 5th, 5th, 8th, 7th, 7th, 6th. What’s mid table about that?
What do you think mid table is?

A 7th to 8th average seems the very definition of mid table given it's neither top 4 nor a relegation fight.

Everything?

If we aren't top 4 then it really doesn't matter where we finish.

That's modern football.
Hahhhha how sad. Yet we hear the calls for Dyche, Howe, Nuno espirto santo, and Chris wilder who are all performing miracles apparently because they have got teams in to the top 6 or near there. Get a grip. If you think we are finishing top 4 anytime soon your deluded.

Its tough times mate and we are all worried and don’t really know the solution. Just hope we find one . Look at the matches leading up to Koeman getting the boot and had played more of the so called bigger teams that we have this year and I’m pretty sure had more points .
