you are aware he is a Birmingham City fan ?

Everton and Villa are almost like for like the same sized club, both as great as each other.

Yeah but he doesn't hide that, similar to Tony Cottee not hiding he was a hammer when he came to us. I respect that.

I am just interested in what you think thats all, I am not hear to wind you up nor to try and persuade you of something you do not believe in.

Dude . Its a SIDEWAYS - with respect , RETROGRADE Step from his perspective .

Hes DONE the Finishing 4/5/6th with an OVER-ACHIEVING Club , Mate .

You dont know me , but these do ...

He Is NOT going to Aston Villa , mate .

Believe it , don't believe it . Thats up to you ..

Oh , believe Billy Davies s available ...

Interested ???

Apparently Grayson (Leeds United manager) has been backed in this weekend from 50/1 to 5/2 favorite for the Villa job. I think that this would make much more sense all round, I don't think Moyes would go anyhow as it really is at best a sideways step as both teams realistically have some constraints financially. It would take a lot for Moyes to go I would think and unless a team with genuine trophy winning aspirations and/or an open cheque book (which Villa are not) come in for him he will continue to develop what he is building here.

Not that I care what Villa do, I think Grayson would be a decent appointment for them. He is young and clearly talented plus a small warchest at Villa of say 8mil after the sale of Young might be tempting for a young manager eager to prove himself. Moyes will have a similar (potentially slightly bigger budget) once fringe players are sold and already has a stronger squad here that he has hand picked for himself.

Just my thoughts...

ignoring the last line which is partisan stuff and to feed back to the first point

Our books show the loss but that is funded by Randy's money and loan notes from his won family trust. I am sure if you read them properly you could break down the money owned to his own trust, money Randy has given and the exact amount of our overdraft.

Now this is an everton forum, so will not bore you with villa's finances but if we were in the same position as you guys, totally agree, Moyes would not move.

I believe our position is far more healthier than you think. since those books were produced we have seen an estimate of £15m per year go off the books in wages with likely to be another £10-15m to come this summer. That along with the capitial that Randy can invest means our situation is not skint, in fact quite the opposite.
