Poor old Damon's been catching a terrible beating on here. I blame Neiler for encouraging him to start the Football Finance Review team.

*shrugs*

Now I don't often say this. As I think it's harsh to come on your board and say 'I want your manager and you guys to get somebody ****' and usually. That's true. However. Alex McLeish has just resigned from Blues and I hope to ****ing god he's your replacement for Moyes and not out new manager. Sorry. But he's a guarantee for relegation. And as much as I like your club. I like Villa a lot more.

The Villa fans actually think McLeish resigning is good news as it means the have got Moyes and McLeish is coming here!!!!!!!!!! I dont think it has occured to them that McLeish is on the way to Villa.

Do not even jest about such a scenario.:o

Apparently Grayson (Leeds United manager) has been backed in this weekend from 50/1 to 5/2 favorite for the Villa job. I think that this would make much more sense all round, I don't think Moyes would go anyhow as it really is at best a sideways step as both teams realistically have some constraints financially. It would take a lot for Moyes to go I would think and unless a team with genuine trophy winning aspirations and/or an open cheque book (which Villa are not) come in for him he will continue to develop what he is building here.

Not that I care what Villa do, I think Grayson would be a decent appointment for them. He is young and clearly talented plus a small warchest at Villa of say 8mil after the sale of Young might be tempting for a young manager eager to prove himself. Moyes will have a similar (potentially slightly bigger budget) once fringe players are sold and already has a stronger squad here that he has hand picked for himself.

Just my thoughts...

Blimey! Really should check in with the news before posting, lol! Oh well, Grayson, McLiesh, Billy Davies (just sacked by Forest), who cares??! None of them are as good by Moyes and I couldnt care less who they end up with...

Proof I wouldn't post on here.

Most villa fans have been carrying on saying its because we are after a New manager that they havent annouced moyes as their boss yet :P:D,

Ok, I am now officially scared we lose Moyes for some gobshite like McLeish or Billy ****ing Davies.

I've enjoyed the wind-up but I now want to get off this merry-go-round!!!!

Can I ask a question as I seem to have started a board war !

If we were able to give Moyes a net spend of £30m per year over three years, would you think he would still stay ?

How far would his loyality stretch then ?

Dude ; Honestly Kid ...

I WANT Angelina Jolie -an' for an' Arl , Sick , Ugly-Arse Sumbitch , I dont do too bad with the Chicks ..

BUT I CANT HAVE HER , cause THAT DOESNT HAPPEN IN THE REAL WORLD ...!!!

You have NO GOALKEEPER , No Manager , and , with rspect , 1981-1982 aside ; NO POST-WAR HISTORY ...
Now , do us a fav'' an' let us get back to our weekend ...

Eh ..???

Why is Moyes taking a backwards step still being talked about? he's at a bigger club with a slightly bigger and more loyal fanbase with stability and good player, he is in control here, Villa are not as big as Everton. END STORY.

according to sky McLeish have quit Birmingham and is now favorite for the Villa job

. Villa fans will be fuming at that LOL
