Don't blame you for a second mate! Tell you what though, it'll kick off at VP is McLeish is appointed. Season ticket sales will plummet, the good will Lerner has built up over the last few years will evaporate in an instant and there'll be little to no chance of keeping our better players.

This could go one of two ways for the Villa - things could either get very dark or very bright in the next few days. The optimist in me says will be getting Moyes and you'll be getting McLeish, the realist in me says we're completely screwed.

McLeish is like Moyes but with the defensive factor bumped from 10 to 11, and the offensive factor lowered from 3 to 0.

But Moyes isn't leaving, despite Dave's best efforts to implant the seed of doubt in our minds.
