Moyes: None of my Everton FC stars are going anywhere

Agreed. Still think he'll come good for us in the end. The quality is undoubtedly there

Heitinga does wants to be a first choice centre back though. Was his biggest reason for joining Everton. At least that's what he's been saying in all interviews here in Holland.

Next year , kid . Him and Jags = Marriage made in Heaven !!!

Oh , Source said Joe Yobo may be going . NOT A DEFO , but that's what he said .

Wasnt he playing full back though at Seville!
Athletico Madrid you mean and yes he was. Always said he prefers to play at centre back though, as he feels that is his best position (definately agree with that, don't rate him as a full back at all). Reading his interviews, Moyes more or less promised him that. Although he doesn't mind switching positions to help out in case of injuries.

Liverpool Echo.co.uk - Everton FC - News - David Moyes: None of my Everton FC stars are going anywhere

He said: “I don’t think for any reason I’ll lose any of the squad. I don’t for a minute foresee that. “I am confident we’ll keep the squad together. There’s no need for a big overhaul. We ‘d always like to add a couple of players if we can do so but nothing more.”

So no player gets sold this summer, we'll just add to the squad.

That's alright then.

No complaints here, mate.(y)

Personally, I'd like to see Moyes take a risk and sign Jermaine Beckford of Leeds, but that's just me.

Point is, this team needs strikers in my opinion. Louis Saha won't be enough.

Ye but i bet 12 months ago if there was a bid for Fellaini for £10-12m, you'd have said take it. Bite there hand off.....

Would you sell him for £15m now.....??

Thought not.

Dont be to hastey.

Sharpy I'm not having a go at you, but I need to make my position crystal clear.

I just want people to read what I am actually saying.

I never wanted Fellaini sold.

I never wanted Fellaini sold for less than we paid for him.

I never wanted Bily sold for less than we paid for him.

I think Bily has shown glimses of true genuine quality.

Everton can't afford to sell playes at a loss and if we we sold Bily for under the 10 million we paid for him I would see it as bad business by the club.

I think that if we keep the main players I'd be happy without worrying about new playres. All the player will be back from long term fitness, Vaughan (hopefully) will return as a competitive player, Yak will get his mojo back.

If we sell one or two fringe players won't make us a selling club as some think, but if Pienaar goes it will probably confirm in the mind of some that we are a selling club, but in all honestly I do expect players to leave, I just hope it ain't significant players.

I think Moyes will have in his mind a pool of around 16 who are his key players, and these are the players he does not want to lose. Vaughan and Yobo are probably just outside there at the moment, so it wouldn't be a shock if we agreed to sell them.

The manager says it wont happen. It wont happen:

“I don’t think for any reason I’ll lose any of the squad. I don’t for a minute foresee that."

We were a selling club for the past two transfer windows, no question. But the rot will stop this summer. No players to be sold...we're only in the business of adding to the squad. It's all good.

Rubbish. How are we a selling club? We do business, we sell players who are A. not required, B. not performing, C. don't want to be here.

If we are a selling club then so are Man United.

Just to clarify , did you want Fellaini sold , Tep' ???

No chance of us getting him for 7-9 million. He's there best player, and at 23 has alot of time to improve and get better. I have no doubts that he'd like to join a club like Everton but you do need money to make deals happen, and N'Zogbia would go for a similar price to Palacios and Valencia. Being an international doesn't come into it, Palacios and Valencia represent Honduras and Ecuador, it's a bit different competing for the French squad.

Wigan are a selling club, but they will get good money for there better players.

I can't put it better than that. We'd all agree that Lescott was a great piece of business now, just [Poor language removed] timing but blame the player not the club for that.

Mr K is setting himself up for some more ranting here so if we let go of Yobo or Vaughan he can attack the club and say Moyes has had them sold behind his back, you get the picture.

Let's be honest, it's fairly unlikely that we won't have any investment between now and the summer, so all this talk of being unable to afford players is irrelevant really.
