Moyes: None of my Everton FC stars are going anywhere

You've just ansewered your own question on United: they have an efficient business operation and selling players is not a priority. The opposite has been the case at Everton. The basis of our business operation has been to put our hand out for the tv cash and to top this up with the sale of players...that's kept the wolf from the door for so long now it almost seems like some people have lost sight of the fact that it's the core business strategy and is anathema to building a developing and enduring organisation.

No I have shown you the bigger picture, United happen to have more income than us, but when a big offer came on the table they had to take it, like we did with Lescott.

What players have we sold that have damaged this club?

Do you know that players get bought and sold all over the world? Are you aware of this concept?

If any club consistently spends less than they buy then they are, yes. If you think that description fits Man United then that's your mistake.

Anyway, it's all good. We're spending not selling this summer.

Positioning yourself for another dig at the club.

Shame on you Mr K.

Everyone can see what's going on here x

Well it's like let's ignore the sensible posts and try and invent crap to support my own agenda against the club. Not sure why Dave is even an Everton fan - surely it would be easier to just not bother.

I'm merely reiterating the manager's words. He cant see any situation that would see his players sold and leaving the club. We're buying this summer. In the black for the first time in a good few seasons. Cause for celebration.

It's all good.

How about you answer my questions? At least that may give you some point.

You feel we haven't sold any players that would have improved the team?

My word.

No, I said have we sold any players that have damaged this club?

And the answer is no. Everytime we have sold a player we have invested wisely and improved the team. That's not being a selling club, that's being efficient with what you have and making the best use of the situation.

When you say were a selling club it's like saying we have no ambition.

Now if they sell Rodwell, then that would be saying no ambition - but until that happens, they are just doing what they can to make the best of the situation for the club and the business.

We sold Rooney and Lescott (and before you call the Lescott sale a stoke of genius he was probably our best player...as was Rooney before him) but they weren't evidence of damaging sales?

Ok.

We've been consistently a selling club. If we recycle that money it soesn't make that statement any less true does it? As for efficiency: we're curerently 9th after another season of early disruption in the transfer market (similar to the season before that with the Johnson saga). If that's your idea of efficiency....

Good to hear from Moyes. It will be interesting to see what happens with Yobo. I don't see us selling him unless he really wants to leave to get more first team football.

Who knows if we'll be able to sign Senderos on a free when his loan is up this summer. If we don't I can't see us letting Yobo go easily. We'll have Jags, Distin, Yobo, and Heitinga for center backs and it looks like Heitinga is establishing himself as our top cover for Fellaini.

Rubbish, Lescott wasn't even the best centre back at the club. He had a great year the season before last, but last season he was average and we were offered 4 maybe 5 times his value.

We have had an horrendous injury list this season, unprecedented, rare, never happens to lose so many key players - no other club has suffered that handicap.

Any Evertonian who knows football will agree that our position is due to the injury list at the start of the season.

We are a business, we are not a selling club. No more than any other club who sell deadwood and accept silly money for ok players.

Your on your own mate you really are.

"Deadwood", oh yeah, they're all deadwood - Rooney, Johnson, Lescott, Gravesen. We sold Neill at Christmas breaking up a decent CB partnership...again..."deadwood" (not wanted).

We sell, we buy with the proceeds. This isn't quantum physics mate. It's a simple enough concept to understand and accept. You're turning yourself inside out to make it not so...but it patently is.
