Yes this doesn't sound very likely but what if Martinez goes to Malaga? Pellegrini has now left and Martinez has been linked with them a few times recently. He can go back his native country, he's got Europe football next season and everything. Then not long after it is is confirmed that Pellegrini is leaving as is his background staff it comes out Martinez will make the decision in next 24 hours. Then after Kenwright or whoever is told that Martinez will not be taking our offer then we go straight for Pereira and move quickly which would explain all the Pereira stories and being so heavily linked with us over the past 48 hours. Highly unlikely but just a theory I was thinking about then.

I will probably chuckle when Martinez becomes the manager of Stoke. Malaga? He isn't Mourinho MKII.
