Aroused/amused.

Much like when I first heard the Pereira rumour.

Better than what those idiot barcodes offered that ******** Pardew!

To be honest the more I think about it, if we were to take a risk on a foreign manager untested in the prem, the more likely it sounds we would offer them a short contract especially if we were paying out zero in compensation!

Yeah I understand where ya coming from, it would just be our luck next season he gets us to 5th or 4th place and then he has 1 yr left on his contract!

interview?

Pinto da Costa 5th fair gives an interview on BBC1 ace 21 hours. Maybe that says if Vitor Pereira continues or not.

I think tomorrow this interview we learn if VP stays or leaves. Not make any sense, already finished with the epoch that PC go food taboo around VP. We are, in case it turns out, still not sure who the new.

sorry mate but these two posts on page 29 on here http://www.fcporto.ws/index.php?topic=15486.700

What I would do in Bill's shoes is offer two years at say 50k a week. This with the option that if he finished above Moyes' last position of sixth and gets us into Europe we renegotiate for an extension and he can get the same 65k old Davey boy's been taking home.

'Everton are taking their time over a replacement for Moyes, and have denied reports in Portugal that Porto's coach, Vitor Pereira, has agreed a two-year deal at Goodison Park'.
Guardian

It'd probably be a 2 year deal with the option of more.

If BK is apprehensive about hiring him then a 2 year deal is the way to go, allowing him to prove himself.

just put SSN, saw Kenwrights mug, they were chatting about Everton, I did'nt get the volume sorted quick enough, anybody catch what it was about?

Yeah, there's 8! candidates for the job and 3 of those are in house. Weve interviewed Neville, Stubbs & Weir already and from what SSN were saying, we want to talk to Martinez, Pereira, Mackay, Laudrup & Di Matteo.

Alan Myers, who was asking on twitter the other day who Evertonians want to be there new manager, said Kenwright had been inundated with calls and emails from fans regarding who they want as the new boss and did say Kenwright did say he would listen to the fans but obviously, the choice will be down to him in the end (obviously!).

So who knows, Pereira is the new favourite for the job with the bookies, it seems the majority of us fans want Pereira and have let Bill know, so expect Neville to get the job by the weekend!!!...... b)

You know when Martinez decides to stay with Wigan tomorrow, will the papers twist that into a 'Martinez snubs Everton' story, given that we've yet to even make an approach for him?

I wouldn't be that surprised if he did stay, he has a genuine affection for the club.

As for the media, well they do it with anyone/anything don't they. Martinez turned LFC and Villa down previously. Maybe he's waiting for the Man Utd job
