Right now I'd take Steve McClaren. He's actually got a half decent record.

Duncan would be my first choice like.

If its internal I want Big Dunc.

I would take Gary Megson as intrim, right now.

I'd take Poyet over Martinez, who despite Saturday still leaves me cold.

Dean Saunders.

if not that though then I think Bilic until Stubbs is experienced enough

Someone like Solskjaer wouldn't be the worst in the world. He seems to have a bit of steal about him for some reason. Likewise Billic (I think) and the right wing nut job Di Canio.

Still not into my top 3 for the hot seat though:

1. Lennon
2. Duncan
3. Sheedy

Neil Lennon has all the skills

That wouldn't be a bad thing.

Seriously I believe. Lennon will be a contender when Moyes goes this summer.

Yeah I think Lennon is worth a shout, he can be a bit of prick but you can't argue with intensity. Every game he is under pressure to win, so he might not have the same 'choking problem' as Moyes.

Paul Ince

'tis right.

Martinez is no Lennon.

Right now I'd go for anyone with Everton running through them like a Joe Royle with a Ferguson/Sheedy combo.

Or Neil Lennon.

Steve Bruce is a decent shout, he's done well at Hull this season and has plenty of experience in the Premiership. I think he's been unlucky with some of the jobs he's been in and I'd definitely be willing to give him a go, Hull play some really nice stuff as well.

I honestly believe Neville will become a very good manager - certainly better than the dross I've listed in the bottom line

Rafas a manager who can win trophies which most on here crave badly, I dont think he would come here out of respect to the RS but laudrup aside theirs no one better imo he has won champions leagues, fa cups and soon a europa league with chelski yet the same people that say they wouldn't want him beat moyes with the no trophies won bottler stick cant have it both ways evertonians

voted.bilic....but would love di matteo

id give curbs a shout .... plays decent stuff got sh** on at west ham

Take the money away from Mark Hughes and he's not a bad manager.
Did well with Wales and Blackburn.
Not so good with City and QPR.

i think hughes would be last on my list of all mentioned, i'd even rather have benitez or lennon

I tell you who could be due a second chance, Owen Coyle

Someone text me saying Sammy Lee is gettung the job.

i'd take benitez. hes a winner and just wants to win and wants to wind people up who he competes against.

everton have moved on from moyes position. no-one can manage everton without european pedigree.

what about alan curbishley?

Mancini anyone???

Anyone know what is Dave Watson doing currently? He was our acting manager for a while. Did he try his hand on management?

Do think Neville will be a Number 2 here if Moyes doesnt decide to take him to United with him.

Roberto Martinez - Phil Neville combo.

Surely the scouting network will remain in place for identifying new players.

Is there any support for Rafael Benitez on here?

Can we stop fighting and get back onto Mark Hughes please

dougie freedman at finch farm my mate who works at everton has just text also milky mackay coming to finch on sunday so get a bet on them 2 right now ffs bill

just letting you know it should be on the news if its true as sum1 will let the papers know my mate works at finch as a scout

I´m going to come out and say it:

I want Benitez.

I know he´s a dirty [Poor language removed] but there´s nothing wrong with a dirty [Poor language removed] if he´s doing his dirt on your behalf.

The thing about Benitez that sets him apart from other names on the shortlist is that he´s a winner. What ever else you say about him you can´t deny his teams know how to win football matches.

Second this. Benitez would do a top job.

It's not as simple as just forgetting what he's said about everton before. He would get **** off most of the fans from day one, as soon as we lost a game there would be murder.

The number of people that share your opinion worries me.

This, sadly is only about 100 pages worth.

Lol if anybody believes Metro as a source.

As bad as A Bola in Portugal who broke the news that we'd signed Moutinho, if I am not wrong.

800 odd pages and nobody has a clue what is happening.

It will be soooooooo funny if it turns out to be someone that hasn't been mentioned at all yet.

I'm not convinced. He somehow manage to lose against APOEL in CL also knock out of Europa League in the 1/16. His record in domestic cups is also very poor - only won one league cup during his time at Porto.

What exactly is Martinez going to do/announce tomorrow?

Everton (and any other club, according to Whelan) have not made any approach for him.

Is he going to resign? Is he going to say to Whelan, 'I want to leave' and they mutually consent his departure?

If he does either of those things, Wigan don't receive any financial compensation at all. Martinez is under contract to Wigan until June 30th, 2014.

The more I think about this, the more I think this is all about trying to fish out Everton's (or any other clubs) interest in him. Martinez has probably already told Whelan's he's staying, unless there's interest from a Premier League club.

All this grandstanding by Martinez and Whelan makes no logical sense, because no-one has made an approach for him. It's all just media speculation.

Manager - Vitor Pereira

Howard

coleman Otamendi jags baines

Mirralas Moutinho Gibson Pienar

Barkley

Martínez

Pretty much a mix of the porto team and current everton team

martinez retired about 6 years ago, not sure he'd come here if we snub him of the manager's job either
