There's no one happy with indecision, everyone wants the same thing - the right decision.

You're just doing what you always do imo & are looking for an angle to have a pop.

The right decision can only be measured retrospectively. A decisive board would have told all the "internal candiates" to take a flying one and would have identified successors prior to Moyes leaving.

Moyes was on a huge wage. I can't see Martinez or Perreira rejecting a crack at a top 6 club on anything approaching those wages. They will be waiting on us not vice versa.

If you're in charge of the company you make the decision, not sit on your arse pontificating like for the past 11 years.

You fellas need to calm the eff down.

The season finished, what, 5 days ago?

My concern relates to us appointing the wrong person, and how that will lead to us drifting further away from the leading pack due to not making the most of our opportunities.

It could cause irreparable damage to Everton.

Mike Phelan, Sir Alex Ferguson's right-hand man, has already gone. So too has goalkeeping coach Eric Steele. First-team coach Rene Meulensteen has been offered a reduced role, forcing him to consider his options – one of which is a return to the Netherlands.

Premier League ‏@PremiierLeague now
Everton: Moyes to bring Round and Lumsden: David Moyes is set to take assistant manager Steve Round and first-... http://bit.ly/13PiQIS

Can we swap the back room staff over please?? I'd happily take the Man U backroom staff

Bit crazy of Moyes to go in there and have a clear out. They are champions for a reason!

Ah well! Arsed!?

Moyes doesn't want anyone questioning him when he does something crazy and baffling

Vitor Pereira

ITS ON

ITS ON

ITS ON

Too right IT'S ON!!

The magic of Google Translate tells me this is the remnants of an interview with Vitor's agent.

The agent says that a decision will be made early next week, that he thanks Porto for giving them time to make the decision, and that what the chairman said last night was correct.

He didn't go on to specifically name Everton, but reiterated that they are in contact with another club.

Kinda sounds on to me.

Lol imagine the rage on here if he signed on at Stoke.

Exactly, so why are you pontificating over the rights & wrongs of a decision that hasn't been announced yet?

You have no idea what's going on as part of this process, nor the length of time it's been under discussion.

Put your stones away until there's a reason to throw them, you just can't resist chucking one in the vague direction of the target though can you?

Choosing and appointing the EFC manager

How is there indecision?!

They have to interview the people they want surely?!

There is literally no rush needed with this. Yes we'll all be annoyed when it ends up being someone rubbish, but it's not yet, so why rush?!

Don't get it at all. Just sounds like people finding something else to have a go at the board for which isn't even there.

There's more than enough to have a go at them for without making stuff up.
