Well, they're running with the Martinez appointment actually, but the Weir alternative is now out there where the board have no doubt instructed their hack friends to put it...just getting everyone's minds focussed on the inevitable when Martinez doesn't come off. There's a choreography to all this - they treat Everton supporters like morons, but they know they have to follow some rules to make the medicine go down a bit easier.

How can we attract players and keep our top players with one a them crap internal candidates possibly becoming our manager a disgrace we are going backwards really

I'm gonna throw a curve ball here mate...... within the game some players who we think are awful are highly respected by their fellow pro's...... I know this for a fact. Friend of mine played in goal for QPR and Wales back in the 90's... he went to Milwall after QPR got injured and went to America... long story about a new innovative glove which protected fingers and he had a new career back over here at Dagenham and Redbridge.... he is now a keeper coach at Arsenal after being recomended by David Seaman. the man he replaced at QPR when Seaman went to Arsenal.... we as fans know fook all really.

They can take all the time in the world as far as I'm concerned mate. As long as they were actually in the business of searching for the right one. Truth is though they're not. They knew it was going to be a coronation of the Moyes man in waiting for a number of reasons: cheap/keeps his mouth shut. Everything else is a charade....a charade who's final stages we're entering into. I feel sorry for all the poor buggers hanging on every word about Pereira...kin ell, poor bastards.

Maybe Bill really is going for the best man ( Pereira in my opinion )

my own hopes are that Vitor is going to join us next week. I think ( hope ) he is thinking his future over with his family. I do wonder why he has not made it clear that he is staying at Porto? I think he is the one the board are looking to bring in and Martinez is holding out in case Vitor stays at Porto.

I dont think anyone apart from Pereira or Martinez will be our next boss. But wtf do I know?

How do you know this though ? It's purely speculation on your behalf.. how do you know Davie Weir is not the new Alex Ferguson ??? he may have new, exciting , attacking ideas that Moyes refused to take on board...WITH THE SAME BUNCH OF PLAYERS ....... with probably the exception of Fellaini...... Personally I would like a proven manager but they were all unproven at one time.
