I would find it hard to accept anyone who hasnt had any prior management never mind top flight, personally i would like vitor on the reasons 1- he seems to be the best manager we are linked to, 2 - he has won league's and been unbeaten all season,(i know there wasnt much of a challenge, but either way its still difficult) 3 - you look at the players porto have bought though the last few years developed then sold to name a few - .. hulk, Joao Moutinho and James Rodriguez. Álvaro Pereira. they also still have the likes of - Jackson Martínez as well.
I would love to see vitor develop and hunt players for us.

Vitor doesn't have any say in signing those players. They have a director of football who does that. Vitor is just a coach.

"David Weir has been identified as the man to take over from David Moyes as Everton manager if Wigan boss Roberto Martinez turns down the Toffees to stay at the DW Stadium"

Today's mail.

Well then we should bring in their D.O.F as well as Pereira, replace Round who will hopefully go with Moyes.
One reason Bill might not go internal is that EFC have sold off all off field assets, so all our value is 'on the pitch'. Bill has always relied on Moyes to keep that stable but if Weir or Stubbs get the job all our players could just tick along until their contracts are running out and leave. I think Bills aware of this and he knows we need someone who'll keep the ambitious players happy.

Whoever signs players for them deserves all the money they get. Getting Falcoa in for 3.3m and selling him for £40m is just the tip of the iceberg
