If Lennon wins the Scottish cup final today he should be the first man Kenwright offers the job to.

Winning the double and taking your Scottish team past the group stages is not to be dismissed. Add to that he knows the Premier League, works with a tight budget and can handle expectation then it starts to make sense.
God you are poor WUM

You can certainly dismiss the double. Especially in a Rangersless league.

Most of the fans will but first and foremost, he shouldn't do anything stupid like wasting millions on Wigan players.
He is the manager and we should back him on who ever he wants to sign, who are we to judge him on signings, we will judge him in 24 months and see what he can do. Moyes wasted millions on Beattie is his earlier days.

I'm not winding anyone up. There's some bad feeling towards Lennon I appreciate that but his CV compares favourably to all the other British and Irish based candidates - especially the internal ones and Martinez. By all means the Porto boss is something to get excited about but what Lennon's done is impressive.

Absolutely any manager should be judged on our success.

What's going on here?

As for getting into a discussion with Dave. My motto is..

" never get into a mud fight with a pig, you'll both get dirty but the pig will enjoy it..."

In your eyes, I disagree.

The league he is working in is a joke and no Rangers either, he personality is pathetic, and then the trouble he will cause when he refused to wear a poppy at Goodsion. nah we should steer clear.

Lennon's a plum, I don't want to see his mug anywhere near Goodison, thanks all the same.

I don't trust him because of his past record (transfers and results). Everton is too big for him. I fear for the worst, I actually think he will be the manager, frankly speaking.
