I'm outside the room now, I've got a cup against the wall.
Whelans shouting, something about his leg, and how ' that bitch' has turned his head with his showbiz friends and musicals?
This isn't making any sense

No they are not except Moses.

I said value for money. I don't think these would be good signings for a team of our standard but on the budget he was on they were all at least decent signings for Wigan, in terms of the amount they paid for them.

Paul Kendrick @pkendrickWIG 1min Dave Whelan " Everton granted permission to speak with Daves leg re:Martinez manager swap with Stubbs' left bollock moving to Wigan".

Yeah, interesting that we haven't actually spoken to Martinez yet. Although it seems very likely that we'll apoint him, you never know, we might have been waiting to speak to Martinez before any decision is made on Pereira.

...clutching at straws...

He said he granted permission last Friday didn't he? I'd be amazed if he resigned before we'd even spoken to him.

@PKendrickWIG: Dave Whelan: "Roberto still had 12 months remaining on his contract and that will need buying out."

This explains Vitor Pereira delaying his decision at Porto. Kenwright has basically had Martinez penciled in as of last week. If it had fallen through he would have turned to VP.

It's a done deal.

The fact that Kenwright has asked Whelan's permission to speak to Martinez can only mean that Bobby must be Bill's first choice. I think Bobby will need to have a disaster of an interview if he is not to get the job. I can only see Bobby giving a great interview, really positive sound-bytes which will be music to Bill's ears.
