If Moyes stays we face the same problem regarding having to sell to buy one thing is certain we need more numbers and better quality otherwise it's the same or worse (players older) next season. Perhaps a new man can revitalise Jelavic get Barkley and other youth players at it buy the equivalent of a michu. One thing is certain we'll never know unless we change.

Yeah I've already accepted that he's going. The point was more about what effect this inevitable event is going to have on the playing squad. The new manager will make some tweaks for sure and get players playing in different ways. There is most likely to be a dose of short-term optimism as there was when Moyes took over, but it won't last unless Bill surprises us all and gets a tactical genius who is also superb in the transfer market and is a great motivator.

One thing is for sure - this team will break up over the next few seasons.

i am all ears - i am not certain, just thought he done well at southampton. My mind is easily changed to be honest i am just clutching at straws
