I watched Fer again this week and again, was not impressed.

180 minutes now and all I see is him casually jogging around the middle of the ground waiting for a pass, which when he
gets it, he usually passes sideways to someone in space.

Maybe I've caught him on two bad days.

I don't think anything has happened though, because I've just seen a Sky report here in Melbourne telling me that Everton will
interview RM in the next 48 hours and that it's believed two others will be interviewed. Exactly what I was reading here a day ago.

If Martinez is to be interviewed 'in the next 48 hours' Bill should know exactly when. If it's at, say, 11.30 tomorrow, for
example, just bloody say so and then we've got at least some idea 0f what's happening.

I'm hoping for Pereira but I'm not confident. Bill said he's looking for someone with 'Everton DNA'. Doesn't sound at all
like Vitor.

A question for those wanting Periera. He's a coach not a manager isn't he?

So on top of not showing any proficiency in English football he has no proof of being equipped for the identifying and recruitment of talented players who'll not only fit into our system but increase value over time. That's a pretty big part of a successful Everton manager's job.

I would love someone who's a proven success in a competitive league but appointing him would mean we'd have to hire a Director of Football too surely? Or it's going to be one hell of a learning curve for him having to take control of ALL aspects of the club, something he's never done before. A big risk.

I'd be very happy with a Director of Football alongside Pereira, chico. In fact I'd be happier than if we just got VP.

As long as we got the right DoF. Not someone like Commoli - spell - up the road.
