I'm absolutely gutted that Stoke have signed Hughes.

Purely for the fact that it greatly increases the chances of seeing his grid on the telebox again.

Yep, we could have had him inside fifteen minutes.

I'm pretty sure he scrambled to the nearest sports journalist to tell them he was honoured to be linked to us as soon as Moyes to United was confirmed.

It's obviously Martinez baring him doing anything stupid at his interview. Bills whole Everton DNA talk confirmed it was Martinez to me. He's had to wait to speak to Martinez, now he has and I expect he will be announced today or Tomoz. Going with his "gut instinct"

I've warmed to Martinez again....gonna give him the benifit of doubt in regards to wigan's defending and relegation and look forward to what he may be able to do here!
