I'm confused? What makes us think that Bill, Ralf and Vitor are all in Geneva together? I'd love it if this were true but is it really a possibility or are we just dreaming?

The details are all in here, if you read between the lines;)

Vítor Pereira in meetings with businessman While The Guardian asserted that Vítor Pereira was placed on the final list of three names candidates for chair Everton, alongside Roberto Martinez and Ralf Rangnik as a possible successor to David Moyes, the Portuguese coach traveled yesterday to Brussels, where he met the businessman Belgian Christophe Henrotay. "It is true we were together, it was a courtesy meeting and to clarify strategies», advanced agent Belgian. Henrotay not specify the result of the conversation with the technical and referred to later clarifications on the future of Vítor Pereira, but it is certain that the news will not tarry: everything will be decided next week. Yet according to the British newspaper, Vítor Pereira has been formally met with the chairman of Everton Bill Kenwright, but the results of this meeting were not disclosed. The leader will be found as well as Spanish Roberto Martinez, the Wigan coaching, but this type of hearings is very common in England where clubs speak openly with coaches who select as candidates before taking the final. After having been in Brussels, Vítor Pereira have followed to Switzerland, more specifically to Geneva. In this case the trip would have directly to do with FC Porto, who must choose one country for an internship. Source: abola

I will feel completely underwhelmed about the new season if/when we appoint Martinez. Come November time when we have lost 2-0 at Goodison to Cardiff and Martinez is praising the players attitudes, and saying they have the right character to turn it round, I will be bricking it. :(

People in Wigan certainly think so.

Haha

I meant an Everton fan watching re-runs of Wigan FC matches. (God knows were he's got them from)

No offence intended to Wigan FC fans, its the same as it would be a waste of time for Wigan FC fans to watch re-runs of Man Utd games to see what input that coach that might be getting had on the team.

Neville Southall: Appointing Roberto Martinez would show Everton lack ambition

Neville Southall reckons that if Roberto Martinez becomes Everton’s new manager it will prove the club lack ambition.
The former Wigan boss is a front runner to replace David Moyes, who takes over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United on July 1, along with Porto boss Vitor Pereira and Ralf Rangnick.
But the ex-Toffees goalkeeper is unimpressed at the calibre of coach Bill Kenwright is targeting, and has insisted that they should either bring in an experienced league winner from Europe or promote a current coach at Goodison Park.
He told the Weekend Sports Breakfast: “I’d like to see Everton promote from within the club or I’d like to get someone in who is completely fresh who has won something.
“I’d like to see someone come in who has won league title somewhere. Whether it be from Spain, France, Germany, I don’t mind. I want someone who actually knows what it’s like to win the league somewhere.
“What Everton do lack is that little bit of ambition. Everton fans don’t want to win the FA Cup, although they will take it if it’s the only thing on offer, they want to back to winning the league and being in the top four.
“They need to make sure someone comes in who knows what the fans want, knows the history of the club and understands what the fans want.”
