Yes being serious, obviously.

I wasn't a fan of Laudrup either, but I'd have had more confidence in the interview process if he'd been appointed.

Or maybe not romanticising as he had a more successful win percentage in the league than two previous FC Porto managers who went on to have successful PL careers.

I expect Laudrup was approached and simply wasn't interested. He clearly plans to spend another year at Swansea and knows because of his reputation as a player another decent season will make him a very hot property. Even if he was interested his contract buy-out was rumoured to be £5m, add on compensation for possible back-room staff and that would probably have eaten up our entire transfer budget. With no money to spend he wouldn't have wanted the job anyway… so basically I don't think Laudrup was ever a feasible candidate.

Probably not mate. The main concern I had with him is he jumps around a lot, doesn't hang around for long.

They got knocked out by Malaga, who would have knocked out Dortmund as well but for the worst offside decision of the decade. If thats a failure, I would like some of that.

You realise you have to win games to win a cup right? Mourinho and AVB both did that before him. VP got knocked out in the groups last season and went out in the first KO round this season.
