I just can't see Pereira coming to Everton, it was different with Mourinho and AVB when they left Porto because they both went to Chelsea, they had money, a title challenging team and Champions League to go to.
I don't see why Pereira would give up a title challenging team with the Champions League again next season and decent amount of money for us and thats nothing against us but its going to be hard trying to get a manager who is managing a team which has Europe next season when we don't....

I want us to look abroad for a manager, i think pereira would be a very exciting aquisition. Last year won the league and the portuguese supercup. This year made it to the last 16 in the champions league and just 2 points behind benfica in the league. Plus winning the portuguese super cup again. Has an eye for talent aswell, have you seen jackson martinez?

Di Matteo is out of contract as well.

I think he should be our number one choice.

I'm torn on him. It's difficult/almost impossible to justify overlooking a manager who completed a Champions League/FA Cup double but he just doesn't inspire me with confidence. I've got this perception of him being quite weak, more suited to the role of assistant manager than the main job.

Thought that myself mate, MON I think will be up there in consideration. I'd prob be alright about it as well - he has more to give.

Martinez annoys me because he just accepts loosing, he doesn't get annoyed or stressed, not saying he's not a good coach - but that just doesn't do it for me.

A lot don't like Martinez and I can see why, but it's like the Moyes to United scenario. We know Moyes could be lacking essentials for the United job, but he's well respected by his peers and highly rated and he's bagged the biggest job in world football. It's the same for Martinez, he's highly rated by his peers, he's been up for big clubs Villa, RS, and Celtic, but looking at his work at Wigan you can see his faults. But it's how his peers see him and what he offers.

As for O'Neil, Moyes respects him, and he's got the most experience who could slot in to our hardworking system and get respect. He wouldn't have to change much where Martinez would. Hes a safer bet, and he's available.

The downside is his transfer policy. Hes pretty poor on that front

Porto is home to Benfica on Saturday. Two back in the table with two games to play. Win on Saturday and Porto almost assuredly wins the league. Impressive considering the aforementioned losses of Falcao and Hulk since the summer of 2011.

imagine being a citeh fan, never worrying about your players or manager getting robbed by the rich clubs if our fans REVOLT we can have that
