Baines is 100% sure to leave mate.

He´s been a fantastic servant for our club and will probably be Moyes first buy as Utd manager. The lad won´t hesitate, he´s starting to get on a bit and he´s getting the chance to play in the CL for the biggest club in country under a manager who values and respects him. No-brainer.

It's gonna break my heart when Baines leaves. He's my little field mouse :(

Because he's out of contract and has done a cracking job at Porto in his two seasons there?

Unless you talk to the fans who have been booing him as they have bombed out of Europe both years and he sticks to his favourites

I'm not sure, but I think we get a healthy tranche of TV money this Summer, the bit which isn't determined by league performance?

Indeed we do. But so will every other Prem team, so there will be no net effect. We won't become richer than any other club as a result, even if our finances will look more healthy than before. Probable knock-on effects are that player wages and agent fees will likely rise, and transfer fees may also inflate.

For me Vitor Pereira would do a good job great attacking plus possesion football we want attractive football back at goodison although we have seem glimpses this season would love it though Vitor Pereira and Michael Laudrup for me the only two id be choosing from

Thing about Laudrup is he never stays at a club for long. We'd get a season or two out of him then have to find someone else.

He'd have done well to be moving on most likely though. I'd be ecstatic with that if it meant a bit of silver.

And I suppose you talk to a lot of Porto fans?

Have they told you how devastated they are with their record of being UNBEATEN in the League this season too?

And how gutted they are at only conceding 13 league goals all season?

Nah I´m not right, it´s not 100%.

It´s just a somewhat likely scenario.

Everything comes to an end. Something has to die for something new to grow.

Is right. If we avoid the lennons of this world then we'll be fine, I even have a suspicion that we could do even better under someone like Martinez.

Moyes laid the foundations and now Martinez can install sexy football, cup wins and maybe an away win against the kopites

I am sh'tt'ng myself. Properly though. This is a MASSIVE opportunity for us to change. Desperate for someone like Laudrup who would get the best out of Barkley and actually have us playing nice football opposed to percentage football. Going to end up gutted I know it.
