i would love to see duncan ferguson manage everton, somone who actually loves everton

but realistically id like to see laudrup or martin o neil

So Kenwright thinks we should be consulted? In that case I'll make it known if Mark Hughes so much as waves his ****ty stick anywhere near Goodison Park in the guise of being a future Everton manager I'll make damn sure he knows he's NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

By the way, what was Moyes wage? If someone could compare that to that of a 'normal' manager, you could calculate how much money we would save in a year. Or give to Barclays.

Redknapp is the footballing equivalent to the monorail guy from the Simpsons.

don't know much about Girard or Pereira (probably about the same as you all), but I suppose I wouldn't hate it.

Laudrup or Martinez would be fine

The monorail song is now in my head and likely will not leave for a good 14 hours.

Just had a phone call from Richard Keys saying Andy Gray has been approached ............ not sure what year he sent it

Alan Irvine is already in a crucial position at Everton and hopefully will be left alone to carry on at the academy.
He didn't have great success as a manager and appointing him at Everton would make no sense.

I'd like to see us go for a manager that has played at the top level. The only trophies we've won in the modern era have come from managers who could play a bit.......Zola?

It was 3 million a year, which is what hughes got at qpr and oneill got at villa, and less than redknapp got at qpr and dalglish got at liverpool.

Obivously wenger, ferguson, chelseas managers and mancini are on more than double that. Oneill at sunderland, mcliesh at villa and hodgson at england got 2 million so our new manager would probably be between 2-3 if experienced or about 1 million a year if not. So we'd save between 1 or 2 million pounds a year, and there's 1 million pounds prize money for a position in the Pl. So hire neville for 1 million a year and finish 8th and we're breaking even.

Just to be clear: just because I wasn't impressed by Pereira's honours, I didn't mean I wouldn't like him as manager.

Actually, he's the better/best one of the list (not that difficult, but still :D ). We'd also sign him for free, his wage won't be as high as Moyes, etc.

Could also bring Defour or Moutinho with him.
