Former Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers, Fulham and QPR boss Mark Hughes, 49, who played for Everton between 2000 and 2002, refused to rule himself out of the running to replace Moyes.

"It's not happened yet but it's obvious if one manager leaves there is an opportunity for other managers who are currently out of work, which includes myself," he told Sky Sports News.
"[Everton] is a great club, a club I had the fortune to play for and I really enjoyed my time there.

"It's an opportunity for somebody and I back myself for most jobs in the Premier League."

I dont know if this has already posted, but hughes wants the job

Not sure if he's been mentioned or not but I rate Christian Gross, we all remember him for the terrible job at Tottenham but he has gone away and regrouped and really impressed me. He's not worked for about a year or so but he's got an enormous amount of potential and experience in Europe as well. He also brought through quite a few youngsters at Stuttgart and Young Boys, that's a big plus for me.

Not an obvious candidate but worth us at least investigating. I believe he has taken a self imposed break from the game so he's available immediately.

Out of all the names being thrown around I'd most like to see Pereira get a chance.

But not the likes of Hughes, O'neil, Lennon, Benitez FFS!

I could live with Laudrup

I wouldn't be over the moon with Martinez but I'd just about refrain from killing myself.

This nails it for me really. I don't think I'd go again if some of the clowns mentioned take charge.

Which manager's agent is that? Isn't that Tevez's agent the top ....?

Yeah.

All the players Hughes signed for QPR are on that agents books. Him and Hughes made millions off that club.

There's a reason why Fernandes felt like he got mugged by agents in football

Laudrup conducts himself very well - always has also as a player. His brand of football is something that I would like us to play, the problem is that if he does too well former clubs RM and Barca will be over him and who can resist the lure of those two clubs.

I don't think laudrup is on the radar of these clubs yet. We are a natural progression for him after Swansea. My only concern is that he might want to take Swansea into Europe next season.

The fact we are everton no longer matters mate, today has proved that. We are letting Man Utds manager take charge of us for 2 games as a thank you. Tell him to empty his desk and we can move on. The board have finally finished this club today

Good luck to Moyes but it's embarassing that he now finishes out the season, put Kevin Sheedy in charge for the final 2 games

BK will want someone who will work within the Moyes template, someone who won't rock the boat. There's no room for error at Everton, any major upheaval be it amongst the squad or training routines / techniques will be frowned upon.In short, he wants someone to continue with DM work.

And don't hold your breath in regards of an appointment,BK will milk it for all its worth.

Megson was his first choice ahead of DM, thankfully for some reason or other, he saw sense in the end.
