Yes they had a plan and Yes they executed that plan once it was decided faster than Bill could ask for a curtain call.
No - they didn't just agree a contract out of thin air. It takes a long time for lawyers to agree anything. Moyes has to have been talking to them for some time.

Come on mate, stop taking the piss with them joke of managers.

Andy Townsend has played at the top level, World cups etc. Been an excellent pundit and superb DJ on Talksport, he is the man to bring the glory days back.

Gary Lineker has played at the top level, been to world cups, Paul Ince, gareth southgate, peter reid, Jim Beglin, Alan Smith, Andy Gray, and Martin Keown the same, are they viable as they talk a good talk on the tele?

IN relation to the Joke manager comment, David moyes came from Preston North End, he took them up two seasons in a row to championship football, got the Job at everton and was our boss for 10 years, Eddie Howe has the same track record. to be fair we should be resigned to the fact it will be Roberto Martinez.

BBC gossip column says Malky McKay is the preferred candidate. Please tell me this isn't so.

I thought he only took them from League 1 to the Championship? Anyway, we're a different club now to when we took Moyes. I think we should be looking at managers with European pedigree.

He speaks better English than many a native. No need to write in German. If you write in German he might get paranoid
and think it is a set-up. He is on very bad terms with the German press; he was furious when they linked him to Schalke.
If you identify yourself as a polite foreigner, he might be more receptive to what you have to say.

Minor correction....it is Name.Surname(att)Mainz05.de

The "M" in Mainz is capitalised.

Come on now mate, stop trying to wind me up here. I know Eddie Howe was in Little and Large, pack it in.

All them tv pundits you mention above, they are not in the same league as Andy Townsend. Just admit it.

It is a totally different ball game now. When Moyes took over we had a really awful team and were expecting to fight relegation year in year out; people like Howe is a very poor choice, trying to replicate what Moyes done will not happen. We have moved on and now need an experienced manager who can build on the foundations left by Moyes; more attacking football and tactics.

If it were Martinez then i'm sorry but i'd have to follow the RS footsteps(on what they had planned) and get someone above him, like Cruyff, to build a footballing organisation for the future.
