In today's press conference, Moyes admitted he had advised BK on a replacement. He then went on to talk about what a good job Sam Allardyce had done at West Ham, how they have never been in danger of relegation this year. I don't know if Allardyce has signed a new contract at WHU yet.

I dunno what manager in their right mind would want take on Everton in their career path.

No investment and in all likelihood 3 keys pieces will be missing next year. The only people who actively want the position would probably be inside the club already or a lower division manager.

Just cant see our board in their infinite wisdom and monies attracting the kind of manager we really need.

This is a load of bollocks to be honest.

The money side of things is obviously a big tick in the negative column but it's not the only thing.

Any manager coming in is going to be given time, the job offers relative stability. There's great training facilities, a brilliant backroom staff and a decent youth system. We don't have money but we are a great club.

We might not be operating at the top level but that doesn't mean that we aren't an attractive proposition to the right person.

Biggest game of the season for Pereira this weekend, don't think they will have too much contact with him at the moment.

Hopefully we take our time with this and not rush into things.

But please please please not Lennon.

Not to mention that a takeover is almost likely given the increasing profitability of the EPL. Even with our poor level of assets and high debt, the revenue possible is pretty substantial, and the history here is a great foundation for increased interest.
