okay, i'm only partly messing with my martinez backing here, i think we can attract better and the only reason i'm discussing him is because it'd realistic due to our useless chairman.

does anyone seriously think we have a squad capable of being relegated just because a potential manager got a first team consisting of
Di Santo, caldwell, boyce, joel, ben watson etc.

not to stay up for more than 3 years in a row? Not saying he'll be a success, but he's nowhere near a bad enough manager to have our squad fighting relegation

Benfica are the biggest Club in Portugal.

The Portugese League has a number of good teams, Sporting Lisbon, Braga, Benfica.

Porto have won 7 of the last 10 titles. They're the big fish despite the other big clubs in the league.

Hi mate which eredivise team do you support? Another name I think might be good for us is Gertjan Verbeek. I actually wanted him as next Holland manager, although that was never going to happen.

Fortuna Sittard mate. Verbeek isn't a bad shout tbh. Didn't realy think of him, but would be a very interesting name to throw in the hat.

Appointing Martinez would be a big gamble, IMHO...
He's just way too inconsistent for me... All it takes is a couple of sh1te results in August and we could be in for a very LONG season!

Just because we got right with Moyes 11 years ago, doesn't mean it'll happen again...
