Have to laugh at people who'll take their jarg 'source' as gospel and start going on about how X person is nailed on for the job when in reality nobody really knows.

Dont take this as gospel lad, i'm no ITK or anything but I am a fly on Roberto Martinez's wall and he says that he might leave Wigan.

Off to the bookies to bet my fiesta popular plus, hes defo going to Everton lads.

Will you also agree to ban yourself from the forum ? I mean if you were to say that i'd definitely believe you, at the moment i'm 50/50 about whether i should put my life savings on Stubbs as MickM86 makes a compelling argument.

I've just seen this and thought I'd drop it in here for those who aren't too bothered where we place in the league as long as we win a cup. There's a massive difference in prize money. (Not having a pop, by the way)

Prize Money awarded-
1st Manchester United -£15,101,240
2nd Manchester City - £14,246,178
3rd Chelsea - £13,591,116
4th Arsenal - £12,836,054
5th Tottenham - £12,080,992
6th Everton - £11,325,930
7th Liverpool - £10,570,868
8th West Brom - £9,815,806
9th Swansea - £9,060,744
10th West Ham - £8,305,682
11th Norwich - £7,550,620
12th Fulham - £6,795,558
13th Stoke City - £6,040,496
14th Southampton - £5,285,434
15th Aston Villa - £4,530,372
16th Newcastle - £3,775,310
17th Sunderland - £3,020,248
18th Wigan - £2,265,186
19th Reading - £1,510,124
20th QPR - £755,062

Maybe finishing high up the league table won't bare quite as much significance now there's the additional TV money, but in recent years you can see how finishing even 2 or 3 places lower would have severely affected us.

Yep, and the difference between league finishes will be even bigger next season. If we were to drop down six places in the league we'd miss out on about £8m worth of prize money.
