If I had been Everton manager and Sir Alex Ferguson had come asking for Baines and Fellaini I’d have found it very difficult to keep them. I always thought the right thing to do was the right thing for players. Roberto is new in his job and I’m sure he’ll get to understand how Everton work.

He burnt his bridges with that.

Good luck in Division One, Moyesie.

Funny how the media are referring Gollum as the ex-Man U manager - 10 months at Utd after 11 years at Everton, and he's nowt these days except the ex-Man U manager!

OFM has done an interview for today's (18/10/2014) Football Focus, BBC1
Will record it to watch it later, can't wait to see him put the knife in about getting the sack from Man Ure!

Watched that interview, made me laugh when he said his next team will be getting a manger who's constantly learning and adapting to win matches, in the 12 years ive seen him at us and utd he did no such thing.

He hasnt arf developed an ego the past few years, thats why i cant see him getting a job in england, no top 7 club would touch him again and i doubt he'd drop his wage and go to a lower placed team, thinks of himself to highly

David Moyes....

"I'm really ambitious," he said. "I would never have left Everton for anybody but an ambitious football club.".........

Is there any football club or football manager or football player or football supporter that is not 'ambitious'.......wally......

Id say Newcastle or Villa myself.

I can see him going to West Ham eventually.

I think he would be wary of Newcastle given their current joke of an administration, and I can't see Villa getting rid of Lambert any time soon.

Maybe a club like Southampton?

Remarkable that he says he wants a club in the CL - Arsenal, Chelsea, Norway with potential for Spurs, us and Utd. Cant see it myself.

He needs in soon to long out and your on the scrap heap - Curbishley, Hoddle, Coppell George Graham, McClaren, Souness - just some examples of vouge managers who are now living in the managerial dustbin.

Agreed. He bombed when given his chance to work at the very top table. He will need to go to a club that is aiming to break into Europe.

I still think he is a very good manager who will do well at that type of club.

I agree somewhere like Newcastle or Villa would be perfect and they would be competitive for Europe, the interview for the beeb sounds desperate, more like a job interview than anything - "People forget i got to the quater final of the CL" - cant help but feel sorry for him.

Will always have my appreciation for the job he did for us - people are quick to forget.
