Out of respect to the Community Shield Champion, UTD should allow him to remain in his role until the end of the season so that he can prepare the ground for his successor. We wouldn't want all his good work undone.

Some of the patronising rubbish about Everton from some of these pundits on Sky News is an absolute disgrace.

Man United are 7th. That is all.

Yer see the Mirror and the other rags are all over this now

Well done Davey, Thanks for everything, Hope you enjoy West Ham/Newcastle/Celtic you ginger bell end

Easy with the Celtic rumours in case it gets around. I support em too. FFS that's all I need. Its like an ex that dumped you (but you found out she was a [Poor language removed] all along) but now you just found out your brother is doing her

I wonder if he'll recommend Phil Neville for the job?

Their backline is quite not up to the standard for a top 4/5 side. Jones and Smalling in CB will be destroyed fairly often.

They're not top-notch at the moment but they're only 22 and 24 respectively and they haven't played a lot of games in their preferred position, let alone with each other. It would be a gamble to have such a young pairing at the back but I think that their qualities compliment each other really well and they could grow to be a formidable partnership for club and country.

I think I'm right in saying that Fergie spotted them playing for the England U21 side together, where they were impressive.

Lawro was at it again today saying that we're ungrateful for booing him and that we did well out of the Fellaini deal, so we should have no complaints. Of course he did a good job for us but it hurt the way he left and that he appeared to have very little affinity or respect for the club after having spent 11 years with us. That's what outsiders don't get.
