Moyes sacked by United

He did hold us back and win nothing but where I do feel sorry for him is that he should never have been appointed at man utd in the first place. Had saf not demanded he take over from him he would no doubt still be here now and we would be in the same position as utd are now, except we wouldn't be complaining and he wouldn't be getting sacked.

Sky sport scources reporting it which a lot of the time has some credibility behind it.

Would be kind of ironic if his last game as utd manager was getting beat at goodison!

I don't feel sorry for him as such but he got dealt a bad hand with that squad and new CEO who was a novice in buying players. Must of been a shock in early training sessions to realize what you've got is no better than what u left behind! No doubt moyes has made the situation worse tho.

Would seem a bit silly of utd to stick with him all season and fire him now tho. Should of done it at Xmas if there not gonna give him time!
I think it's called poetic justice.

Not reading 24 pages of this but this is my view: Yes, I've laughed at him failing, yes i'm glad he left us. However, I personally feel the blame should be laid at the feet of those players.

Can any of them look at themselves and say 'I've played well' this season? No. They've let him down badly and part of me hope the new man (if true) has seen this and they ship these players off to Siberia.

At Everton, we'd straight be on the back of the players if we felt they didn't give 100%.

I'd like to see Moyes with tears in his eyes at a hurried together press conference as he announces new five year deals for Cleverly and Wellbeck.

The future starts now!

How ironic and beautiful it is that these rumours are doing the rounds, the day after yet another defeat at the hands of the team he left behind.

Its just bitter sweet.

Yet further proof that ' once everton has touched you, nothing will be the same '.

I kind of feel for him. I think he acted hypocritically and it got under my skin, but I don't think he ever genuinely stopped caring about the club and I certainly don't think he intended to wind Evertonians up. I think he was just trying to do his job in a way that cut any emotion/loyalty etc out of the equation. Parts of me think he was trying too much to "be" Ferguson.

I'll always be grateful for what he did here and I hope he doesn't get the Newcastle job because there he'll have much less pressure on his shoulders and the easiest act to follow imaginable (bar himself of course) in Pardew. He'll be less financially restricted than he was here and I could see him getting them up in the top 6 if he just does the same job he did here.
