The arrogance of some of the media over this is astounding.

You'd think man united were the only team in the league the way theyre going on.

Laughable also how somehow they don't recall the days of Ron Atkinsons Man United.

I don't think simply changing the manager will do it for them.

Think theyre really going to suffer now. Years not months of this for them.

Do you know what this season has taught me Matt. That we will be better next season and we will be closer to the top than we are now. If we finish 4th or 5th when the dust settles we will analyze where we realistically could have done better in certain games. The mancs, Spurs, whoever can improve all they want. We will be a year older, a year wiser and will tweak the squad ourselves. We will be fine mate, better than fine in fact and I think silverware is right around the corner. Our time will come again mate and it will be a lot sooner than we could have ever dreamed of given our lack of spending power.

This all day. There isn't some simple formula for winning, or else Moyes would be higher up the table now. We're all singing for his dismissal, but really what is he at worst? The 5th best manager in the PL? (Don't care to argue, just for example. He isn't in the bottom 10.)

Dressing rooms can turn on a manager in an instant. Jose looks like a top manager. Wenger isn't any longer. If he still has it in him, he should have won it again already. You can blame injuries all you like, but he's had time to build the team he wants. No matter who Levy appoints, I don't see Spurs jumping into top-3 consideration without a massive revelation. The line between winning and losing seems broad, but it's rather fine. And it's not crossed by a magic formula, at least not in competitive leagues, else Barca wouldn't also be having trouble winning theirs.

Hopefully they give him until Christmas to **** up another season for them. A lot of very negative press for him today. On ething I thought was interesting was saying that the players would know how important the game against us would be to him and the players didn't give a toss
Personally I think it's more a case of the fact that DM had no Plan B. Let's face it, he hardly had a Plan A!
