Moyes sacked by United

Everything that has happened has been his own doing. Everything was in place for him when he took the job, the staff knew the players, and knew how they operated, yet he got rid of the lot and took his own cronies with him, which I am glad he did.

No sympathy for the man what so ever.

He can take his men but not in the expenses of their old staff. Man Utd can afford to pay 30 coaches so why not keep everyone and take your friends with you?

Thats what I was amazed at most actually. It would have played great with Utd. They would understand him wanting his trusted staff, all managers do that, but he could have said he wanted Round etc to be bought into the Utd fold.

No big club would touch him after this, He will need to go to a Fulham,Norwich,Stoke etc to build his stock back up

The villa job is perfect for him imo
Not sure if they'll ditch Lambert yet though.

If they do I could see Villa as well. Newcastle have delusions of grandeur and will want someone 'better'. A lot of the other clubs have switched with decent results recently (Palace/Stoke/Fulham). Swansea probably won't accept his brand of football.

So Norwich and WBA as the teams most likely to drop managers that will go for him. Villa on the outside.

Never expected you to write anything like this mate

I honestly thought money was the reason he couldnt break the glass ceiling and I defended certain "things" that happened, the 3-0 at Anfield, the SF at Wembley, I part blamed the players, I considering THEM to be the bottlers, I thought it was partly them not having the required "bottle" to get over the line, then Bobby came in and then it was clear that wasnt the case.

Meanwhile over at OT Moyes took over a quite awful squad of players, granted a group of players that had just pissed the title, but players that knew how to win and he managed to turn them into a mid table club overnight, the 2 transfer windows showed me what a moron he is, an unlimited fund and he managed to buy 2 players for a postion they didnt really need and spent 78m doing it.

LOL

Hes not good enough to manage at the highest level, its taken me a long time to realise this, but my eyes are now open.

If I was DM I would enjoy a long break....then return North of the boarder. Not like he's short of cash. And it would allow him to rebuild his career without the spotlight.

Had a little look on Red Cafe to see what the mancs are saying about it. First page there's a link to Evertonians being asked about moyes sacking. Didn't watch the vid but the manc who posted it added this screenshot, quite funny tbf:

I swear the first guy interviewed is Rooney in disguise

Newcastle is a club I would recommend every manager to avoid, because of that fat Ashley.

I agree that something like WBA (not sure whether Norwich can stay up tbh) or Villa would be a good fit. Limited budget, and with Moyes at their helm I can see them hover in and out of the European places in a few seasons.
